"Willie B.
Nimble"
Willie B. Nimble was a
seasonal mainstay at Rogues, Peabody's, a few times at Pascal's and at
least one gig at the Peppermint Beach Club. The band was "Willie B.
Nimble" and the years were from 1975 thru 1979. Actually I left in
'79 to record and tour with Peabo Bryson but Nimble continued to play V.
Beach, later changing the name to "Kid Shaleen". Members of
the band were Bobby Squires/bass, Sam Guest/drums, Chip Crawford/keys,
Willie T./vocals, William Garland/guitar and me, Jim Boling/horns and
synthesizers.
